The work required to prevent, protect and address sexual exploitation of children requires the collaboration and participation of many actors at different levels: individuals and groups, community and national organizations, specialized services of government and non government agencies, private sector, academic institutions, children, faith based organizations, among others. ECPAT has integrated collaboration in it’s structure by being organized as a global network of local organizations in countries around the world. Partnership is thus at the core of the way we work and we promote and actively seek both long term and punctual collaborations.
Some private sector partners, that long ago joined to support the fight against these crimes against children, have demonstrated that action that is ‘good for society is good for businesses'. We have also seen that as more Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives choose to direct their support to work for the rights of children, the range of collaborations have expanded and consumers, employees and shareholders are more interested to see the services they patronise, support efforts that bolster the protection of children from violations such as sexual exploitation.
ECPAT welcomes and appreciates any interest in collaboration with our specific activities. We also seek strategic partnerships with those that share the goal of ensuring the right to protection for all children. ECPAT International gratefully acknowledges the collaboration of individuals, organizations and institutions around the world that have so generously supported our work over the years. Our special thanks go to the following recent contributors:
